SLIDE MOUNTAIN
We begin our climb up picturesque Slide mountain on our own private road into the rainforest. As we reach 1,100 feet in elevation you will experience the amazing panoramic view of the Tongass Narrows, Guard Island Lighthouse and all the surrounding islands. While there take a stroll along an old logging road, enjoy wildflowers and even wild berries in season. Take a moment to look around for a few of our many types of wildlife.
